Please consider doing at least one of the following:

  • Contribute financially at any time throughout the year, including in honor of or in memory of someone special (Donor Form)
  • Become a Sustaining Donor by making a 3-year commitment. See the Donor Form for specific categories.
  • Encourage a friend, relative, or colleague to become involved
  • Attend our April 30, 2019 Fundraiser, “Read Between the Wines”, our second fundraising event at the Barrel and Beam in Marquette Township.  Back by popular request, this event will be from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. and features hors d’oeuvres, beer tastings, and entry into a drawing for a door prize.  In addition, there will be many baskets for a bucket raffle and an opportunity to hear briefly from 2018 grant recipients.  Two U.P. authors, Adam Berger (historical articles for the Mining Journal) and Bonnie Kilburn (author of Just imagine) will be available for conversations about their writings.

Our most recent fundraiser,  “Read Between the Wines”, held on November 8, 2018, was a collaborative fundraiser to support literacy & local history education (Marquette Regional History Center).  TV6 Upper Michigan Source interview – watch.  And, view a few event highlights here.

CONTRIBUTE FINANCIALLY

As an individual …

Founded In 2006, twenty-three charter donors contributed to what is now known as LLF of Michigan, believing their support would encourage others to do the same, and it has!
Please add your donation to support literacy development by completing the Donor Form. You may contribute as an individual, an organization, business or foundation. We will acknowledge you in the LLF of Michigan Annual Report unless you wish to remain anonymous. A reminder, your contribution is tax-deductible!

As a corporation, agency, foundation, organization, and donors …
